Game Formats
Americano
Best with 4–16 players; up to 64 can play
You play with different partners and opponents each round. Every game you win counts towards your own result.
Record games won for each round (e.g. 6-4)
Total games won decides ranking
If games won are tied, more match wins puts you ahead, then fewer games lost.
Mexicano
Best with 4–16 players; up to 64 can play
Partners and opponents change each round. Players with similar results play on the same court, so matches stay close.
Record games won for each round (e.g. 6-4)
More games won means a higher place. If that is tied, more match wins puts you ahead. If those are tied too, losing fewer games puts you ahead.
New partners and opponents are chosen after each round.
You choose number of rounds (2-12)
King of the Court
8 or more players · several courts
Win to move towards Court 1; lose and move down a court. Partners change along the way. If there are more players than spaces, everyone takes turns resting.
2+ courts, timed rounds
Record actual games won for each timed round
First, your place depends on the court you move to after the last result. Players heading to Court 1 finish above those heading to Court 2, and so on. Among players heading to the same court, more match wins puts you ahead, then more games won, then fewer games lost.
Check the app between rounds to find your next court.
Latviano
8–52 players · several courts
Winners move up a court, and losers move down. Before the last round, players are assigned to courts again based on earlier results. You can change partners or stay with the same partner throughout the tournament.
Four players per court. The organizer chooses how many rounds to play.
Players start on courts by playing level. The organizer can adjust the groups.
Record all games won during each timed round, including the final (e.g. 10–0 or 11–5).
Winners climb a court, losers drop a court after each main round
Games played after a team reaches six still count in the round score.
Before the last round, courts and pairs are chosen again based on earlier results.
It’s simple: more match wins mean a higher place. If wins are tied, whoever won more games finishes higher. If games won are also tied, whoever lost fewer games finishes higher. Winning on Court 1 does not guarantee first place. Every game counts in Latviano :)
If the buzzer sounds and the score gap is only 1 game (e.g. 3-4), the set continues until it's decided
If the score is tied, a golden game decides the winner
Swiss Latviano
17–64 players · several courts
A format for a large group. Each round, players are grouped on courts by their results and get different partners and opponents. The last round is a final for places.
For a large group playing on several courts.
Players start on courts by playing level. The organizer can adjust the groups.
After each round, players with similar results meet on the same court.
Your results can move you several courts up or down at once.
Your final court decides which places you play for: Court 1 for places 1–4, Court 2 for places 5–8, and so on. On each court, the winning pair finishes above the losing pair. To decide the order between partners, the app uses their results from before the final.
Enter your score promptly. The next round is ready once all courts have entered theirs.
Divisional Latviano
20–64 players · several courts
The first few rounds help split players into leagues of a similar level. Each league then plays its own tournament: winners move up a court, losers move down. Each league has its own final and champion.
Players compete in separate leagues of a similar level.
The first few rounds help assess everyone’s playing level.
The organizer checks and confirms the leagues before they start.
Once leagues start, you stay in your league until the end.
Within your league, winners move up a court and losers move down.
Each league has its own final games for places.
Each league has its own winner. Within a league, the final court decides which places you play for. The winning pair finishes above the losing pair; results before the final decide the order between partners. In the overall list, players from the higher league appear before everyone in the leagues below.
PadelBit Soup
16–48 players · 2–6 players per team
You enter as a team, but play on different courts from your teammates. On court, all four players come from different teams. Every game you win counts for both you and your team.
Teams can have two to six players.
Teams can be balanced by level, or players can choose their own team.
Every court holds four players from four different teams, so teammates never play with or against each other
Two rounds are prepared at the start. After each completed round, another is added using results and a forecast of the next round. Published pairings stay fixed.
Partners and opponents change as the schedule allows. Sometimes you may meet again.
Team standings use total match wins first, then games won (higher is better), then games lost (lower is better). Teams with identical totals share a place. The personal table uses each player's games won.
There is no separate final. All rounds count towards the result.
Fixed 2v2
4 players · one court
Four players, two pairs, one court. Keep the same partner and opponents, and play one or more sets.
The first two players form one pair; the other two form the other.
1 match per round; add rounds to play more sets
The organizer chooses whether games won or match wins count first. If the teams are tied, the other result decides. If they are still tied, the team that lost fewer games finishes higher.
Round-robin
12 or more players · teams of two
You stay with the same partner and play every other pair in your group. The best pairs can then move on to games where the winners advance to the next round.
Record games won for each match (e.g. 6-4)
In each group, more match wins means a higher place. If wins are tied, more games won puts a pair ahead, then fewer games lost. If there are knockout games, those results decide the places of the pairs that qualify.
If knockout games are included, the best pairs advance to them.
